On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to St. James’ Catholic Primary School.
As a school community, we look every day to follow our mission statement: “We care for each other and treat each other as Jesus teaches us.”
Our dedicated and passionate staff team work hard to provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can feel secure and excited about learning.
We nurture the uniqueness of every child and respond to their individual strengths and needs. Our aim is to equip children with the tools for future learning and the confidence to follow their dreams.
We are proud to provide a Catholic Christian setting where Gospel values flourish and develop in all areas of school life.
Our Nursery

Our nursery offers both 15 and 30 hour places and we welcome children of all faiths and beliefs.
