St James Ambassadors

Head Girl and Head Boy

We are delighted to introduce, for the first time ever, Head Girl and Head Boy at St James. Layla and Harry will work hard to support and promote the caring ethos and expectations at our wonderful school.

When we choose a Head Girl and a Head Boy we take into account:

  • Thoughtfulness
  • Reliability
  • Trust
  • Positive attitudes to learning
  • Adaptability
  • Know right from wrong
  • Resilience
  • Respect

Head Girls and Head Boys are responsible for representing our school. They serve as role models for other children and work with staff to share ideas and opportunities for our whole school community. We look forward to following the great examples of Layla and Harry.

Mental Health Ambassadors

We would like to introduce you to our St James Mental Health Ambassadors. We work hard to remove the stigma of talking about challenging feelings and encourage everyone to open up in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Pupil Leadership

We consider everyone to be a leader at St James and we aim to nurture this in our lovely children. Here at St James we have House Captain and Vice Captains. Eco warriors and Curriculum Ambassadors. We believe it is important to give children many opportunities to contribute to the life of the school through their engagement with specific roles. Everyone can be a leader!
