Reception Home Learning Week Beginning 29th June 2020

14th September 2021 By spidrwebadmin

Hello Everyone,

It has been so lovely to see so many of you back in school! We know lots of you are still working really hard at home and we love to see all your photos! We are going to be looking at Oliver’s Vegetables and Oliver’s Fruit Salad. We love fruit in Reception class especially at milk time! We also have the home learning packs with your maths work and phonics. Reading is very strange at the moment using reading buddy and not reading books. It would be amazing if you could try and read just one text on the reading buddy each week.

This week if you check out the homework section its all about butterflies! Its a project that Mrs Heslop would like to start as a focus for September.

Keep working hard everyone!

Love

Mrs Honey, Mrs Watson and Miss Robinson xxx

Reception Home Learning Week Beginning 22nd June 2020

14th September 2021 By spidrwebadmin

Hello Everyone!

It has been lovely to see so much of your work on  Tapestry! Miss Robinson and Mrs Watson have really enjoyed looking at it this week and responding to you all! The three of us were back together at a social distance on Thursday which was lovely and we spent some of the day looking through all your photos, which really made us smile! This week we are going to be looking at one of Mrs Honey’s favourite stories Zog. You can watch an animated version of the story on BBC iplayer and there are some great activities on the Whiterose website. We would also like to concentrate on cutting skills this week. So Mrs Honey has attached some activities which links with Dragons, Knights and Doctors from Zog.

Keep up all your good work!

Lots of Love
Mrs Honey, Mrs Watson and Miss Robinson xxx

14th September 2021 By spidrwebadmin

Happy Friday evening everyone,

I will start by saying how extremely proud I am of the entire class for their collective performance of Hamlet on Friday morning. They have showed such amazing professionalism and a willingness to learn and it really paid off on the day. As their class teacher, it is moments like this, that I will never forget for the rest of my career.
