STCEP at St Mary’s Island

23rd February 2023 By lisagillis

Some of our children were selected to work with STCEP  (South Tyneside Creative Enquiry Project) this term. The STCEP is a national programme which supports young people to fulfil their creative potential and have access to high-quality cultural experiences. The children will work to produce art to improve the physical environment of the school and creating a positive identity for those within it. The children visited St Mary’s Island with a local artist to collect shells and other sea treasures together which will help us to decorate our lighthouse sculpture. Everyone had a wonderful time!
